Raid addons

RULE 1: No one will nor should tell you what addons you must or must not use.

RULE 2: Any addon you do download MUST be checked for a virus with an up-to-date virus scanner before unzipping/expanding into the game. One of our guild members got hacked after downloading an addon. It took us two weeks to get the Blizzard GM's to re-instate the account.

Having said the above, some addons well help make your raiding experience easier. I feel some are essential, personally, but I cannot insist due to RULE 1 above.

• Deadly Boss Mods - essential - especially for fights such as Shade of Aran
• CTRa from CTMOD (advanced) - essential - helps raid leader enormously checking stuff like who is afk; how much mana/hp/resistances everyone has etc
• Atlasloot (enhanced) - optional - lets you see which loot each boss drops
• Quartz - optional - useful to help you improve your own efficiency whether you are tank, dps or healer
