Gaia Online Cosplay

Uh, dunno if any of you know that place, but I've been a member of Gaia Online for years now (yeah, even longer than playing WoW ), and I've been entering their avatar arena quite a few times now. But never with a cosplay, so that's what I'm gonna do now XD
I actually wanted to cosplay a Night Elf, but their skin tones are not available, so I picked a Blood Elf instead. Yeah, a Hordie porkie...
Now, I already signed up for next weeks voting, and I'm gonna make this a bit bigger than all the other arena entries I ever made, so I will draw my cosplay, people on Gaia tend to love that very much. Although I'm a member of the WoW Guild in there, I'd rather ask you guys what you think of it? ^^'



Drawing will come when it's done, right now I only made some rough work with no feet, the paper was just not big enough o.o'

Nice. Does it cost you a lot for that character?

I spent 19k Gold on her staff, and alot of Gaia Cash on clothes and acc I didn't have before making it, so I'm broke now *lol* The haircut was around 1600 and the entry fee for the arena 1k, haha, broke...

Thats a nice drawing Galadria, i wish i could draw like that =-P then I wont fail for my drawing exam =-S. But its really nice ^^.

btw: Never heard of the game before, but i think ill keep me addiction within WoW ^^

It's my avatar there, not my drawing XD The drawing will come later when I'm done, but it will probably take some days...
And Gaia is not a game, it's a big community based on a forum made by phpBB. You can play some mini games there though to earn gold, but the main goal is to dress your avatar the way you like it. I normally wear white or black stuff, but this time I look like a Blood Elf (with the clothes available on Gaia) to enter the arena...

I tried to make her mouth a little different, tried to close the gap, but it made her look stupid, so I changed it back to this, since it makes her smile (or mustache if you want) a bit lighter...
Well, votes started today, and I'm at 7/10 already, started out with 4 because of some down-voters *grrr*

Well, I didn't win anything, but I got alot of nice, weird and stupid comments for my avi. Most people with the nice comments were of course WoW players, and they were really happy to see, that someone finally made a WoW avatar, 'cus I was the first one ever on Gaia to make one :3
So I was on place 312 out of around 10000, got a score of 7.5155 out of 10 (the winner got 9.188 and number 10 got 8.739), 1135 people voted for me and 320 left a comment.
I said I would be satisfied with a 7/10, and I got 7.5/10, so I'm quite happy with my work ^^
Those who downvoted were people who didn't knew WoW and Blood Elves, or just didn't like WoW. I think it's rude to downvote just because you don't know what it is, or just don't like the theme, especially when the avatar really looks like the thing it is cosplaying. But oh well, people will always be like that *sigh*
If I can come up with a good idea, I would sure cosplay WoW anytime again, as I'm the only one who got the guts to do so it seems ^^'
